We are looking for a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 home tuition for a Key Stage 1 student requiring additional support across academics. This is a rewarding opportunity to positively impact a child's confidence, learning journey, and overall development in a calm and supportive home environment.
The Role
You will work closely with one KS1 learner, delivering engaging and personalised lessons tailored to their individual educational needs and learning style.
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from candidates who are:
- Experienced working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable
- Able to build strong, trusting relationships
- Creative in delivering engaging learning activities
- Confident working independently in a home setting
Requirements
- Experience supporting SEN students (professional or personal experience considered)
- Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Teaching qualification or tutoring experience desirable
