SEN Tutor – Croydon
Remedy Tutors are looking for experienced and compassionate SEN Tutors to provide 1:1 tuition to students across Croydon who are currently out of school, awaiting specialist placements, or require additional support to access education.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to a young person's life by delivering personalised, engaging sessions tailored to their individual needs.
The students we support may present with a range of needs, including: * ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) * ADHD * SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) * Anxiety and school avoidance * PDA profiles * Behavioural needs * EHCPs
Sessions are delivered either in the student's home, community settings such as libraries, or online where appropriate.
Requirements: * A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE or equivalent) * Experience working with SEN students * Strong behaviour management skills * Ability to build positive relationships and engage reluctant learners * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) * Right to work in the UK
