We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 educational support to a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Margate area. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver personalised learning, build confidence, and help a student achieve their full potential in a supportive environment on a 1-1 basis.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging, tailored 1:1 lessons based on the student's individual learning needs.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of SEN requirements.
- Build a positive, trusting relationship that encourages learning and personal development.
- Track progress and provide regular feedback.
- Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and other professionals where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working as an SEN Tutor or supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan creative and engaging lessons.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
