We are currently seeking a dedicated Tutor to provide high-quality 1:1 educational support to a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Broadstairs area. This is a fantastic opportunity to help a young learner build confidence, overcome barriers to education, and achieve their full potential through personalised tuition.
Your Role
- Deliver engaging, tailored 1:1 lessons that meet the student's individual learning needs.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support a variety of SEN requirements.
- Build a positive and encouraging relationship that promotes confidence and academic progress.
- Monitor and record progress, providing regular feedback where required.
- Work closely with parents, schools, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the student.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working as an Tutor or supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to create engaging, personalised lesson plans.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- The right to work in the UK.
