A family-led Alternative Provision is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Tutor to provide bespoke one-to-one education and support for a young female adult with additional needs across home, community and specialist learning environments. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced SEN Tutor to deliver a personalised Entry Level Functional Skills curriculum while supporting the development of confidence, independence and life skills.

Role Information:

  • Position: SEN Tutor
  • Location: Windsor & Bagshot
  • Salary: £40,000-£60,000+ depending on experience
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 48 hours per week (approximately 8:30am-5:30pm)
  • Permanent Position
  • Minimum of 9 weeks paid holiday per year

The successful SEN Tutor will plan and deliver engaging one-to-one Functional Skills lessons in English, Maths and practical subjects such as Cooking, ICT, Art and Science. Alongside teaching, you will encourage participation in community activities, promote emotional wellbeing and provide consistent support throughout the day.

This SEN Tutor role would suit a qualified Primary Teacher (Key Stage 2) with SEN experience or a Specialist Secondary Teacher experienced in delivering Entry Level Functional Skills. You'll have the opportunity to build a genuine, long-term relationship with one young person while adapting learning around their sensory needs.
