Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a SEND Administrator for a secondary school in South Liverpool. This is a full time/ long term role from September 2026 until December 2026.
As part of this role, you will be required:
- To support the SENCO in a strategic approach to SEN policy, practices, expectations, targets and teaching methods.
- To work with parents/carers and other stakeholders so as to facilitate support for pupils with SEND
- To establish staff and resource needs and advise the SENCO of likely priorities for expenditure and
- allocate available resources with maximum efficiency to meet the objectives of the school and subject plans and achieve value for money.
- To support the implementation of the SENCO's strategy for the best use of subject, technical and other expertise.
- To provide information to the SENCO in relation to new resources from a wide range of sources inside and outside the school, including gathering evidence for submissions for Top-Up Funding
To be successful in this role, you will need
- To understand and support pupils with special needs.
- To support the work of volunteers and other Learning Support staff in the classroom.
- To work with students, Curriculum Leaders, class teachers and support staff with pastoral
- Responsibilities to advise with regard to realistic expectations of behaviour and achievements are set for students with SEN.
- To work with colleagues to ensure that there is a safe working and learning environment in which risks are properly assessed
- To play a full part in the life of the school community, to support its distinctive mission and ethos and to encourage and ensure staff and students to follow this example: To work in partnership with other staff and provide information about pupils as appropriate.
