A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Darwen.
You will play a crucial role supporting pupils with additional needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted SEND support on a 1:1 basis
- Assist with classroom inclusion and behaviour management
- Implement tailored learning strategies
- Encourage pupil independence and confidence
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND
- Knowledge of autism, ADHD, or SEMH strategies
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
