An inclusive and forward-thinking primary school in Camden is looking to recruit an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their committed support team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs. You will provide tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to access learning, develop confidence and achieve their individual goals.

About the Role

• Provide dedicated support for pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH
• Work closely with the class teacher to adapt learning activities and resources
• Deliver targeted interventions to support academic and social development
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Encourage independence while supporting pupils to reach their full potential
• Liaise effectively with teachers, the SENCO, parents and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a primary school
• Confident supporting children with a range of additional needs
• Patient, nurturing and resilient, with a calm approach to behaviour management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Passionate about inclusive education and helping every child succeed
