Are you a SEND Teaching Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive Harrow primary school?
SANZA Teaching is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a well-established Additional Resource Provision (ARP) within a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Harrow.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) while working alongside an experienced SEND Teacher and SEN team.
The Role
- Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant within the school's ARP
- Support a small class of 10-12 pupils
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group support
- Help pupils achieve EHCP targets and develop independence
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Work closely with the SEND Teacher, SENCO and wider staff team
Requirements
- Experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Support Worker
- Experience supporting children with ASC, ADHD, MLD, SLD or complex needs
- Patient, resilient and adaptable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for inclusive education
