We are recruiting passionate and resilient SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and Moderate Learning Difficulties across specialist and mainstream schools in Walsall.

Your transferable skills in behaviour management, communication, emotional regulation and building positive relationships are highly valued within SEND education.
The Role Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Encouraging engagement with learning. Managing challenging behaviour using positive strategies. Promoting emotional wellbeing and independence. Working closely with teachers and SEND professionals. Providing personal care where required. We are looking for candidates who have: Experience working with vulnerable children or adults. A calm, patient and resilient approach. Excellent communication skills. The ability to build positive relationships. A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
