Description
- Managing a portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnership
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102/FRS 105.
- Reviewing bookkeeping and management accounts prepared by junior team members.
- Supervising, mentoring and developing Junior Accountants and Apprentices.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
- Providing business advisory support, identifying opportunities to add value.
- Reviewing VAT returns and supporting corporation tax compliance processes.
- Ensuring assignments are completed within agreed budgets and deadlines
- Assisting Partners with workflow management and practice development.
Profile
- ACA / ACCA qualified.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards.
- Experience reviewing work and supervising junior staff.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent customer service and the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships.
