An accountancy practice based in Ross On Wye (hybrid working) is currently recruiting a Senior Accountant to join their team.
This is a newly created role through organisational growth so the induvial coming into the position would be given a client base but the employer is keen on and needs someone who enjoys the more communicative side of accounting and is comfortable with the business development elements. For this a very favourable bonus scheme is offered.
Duties will include:
- Accounts preparation for a range of clients
- Tax calculations and dealing with all subsequent queries
- Assisting clients with business advice based upon financial performance
- Proactively asking for client referral and recommendations, helping grow the organisations client base
- As the client base grows, developing and mentoring more junior members of staff
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified and have worked in practice previously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
