About the Role
Reed is seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to operational and project teams. Based full-time in Avonmouth, Bristol, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business operations, maintaining high standards of organisation, communication and compliance.
This position is ideal for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting multiple stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Office Support
- Manage day-to-day administrative activities across the office.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems and business documentation.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and meeting documentation.
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, conference calls and travel arrangements.
- Organise internal meetings, take minutes and distribute actions.
- Ensure office administration processes are efficient and effective.
Project & Operational Support
- Provide administrative support to project and operational teams.
- Maintain project records, trackers and compliance documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, KPIs and business updates.
- Support onboarding, inductions and training administration.
- Ensure documentation is maintained in line with company procedures.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Build effective working relationships across departments.
- Handle enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Support communication between management, teams and third parties.
- Assist with Health & Safety, Quality and compliance administration.
- Support internal audits and document reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with GDPR requirements.
- Produce accurate management information and reports as required.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a Senior Administrator, Office Manager, Executive Assistant or Project Administrator role.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional and proactive approach to work.
- Experience supporting senior managers and wider teams.
Desirable
- Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, logistics or a project-led environment.
- Knowledge of document control systems.
- Experience supporting Health & Safety or compliance activities.
- Familiarity with project administration processes.
