We’re partnering with a global alternative investment firm that’s expanding its Application Support capability for the Macro trading business.
This team ensures a stable, resilient production environment, enabling investment professionals to operate with confidence while driving improvements across incident response and application reliability.
You’ll be stepping into a high-impact leadership role with a mandate to shape processes, strengthen communication channels, and elevate how trading systems are supported across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the build-out of the application support function for Macro trading
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex incidents and outages
- Manage communications with end-users, traders, and senior technology stakeholders
- Oversee onboarding workflows including access management, setup, and user limits
- Train and mentor team members; maintain and improve documentation
- Review and enhance support processes, driving automation and consistency
- Partner with tech teams and users to define and deliver project plans
- Manage day-to-day team operations, including reporting on incident/request metrics
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ application support experience in financial services
- Strong SQL and scripting capability
- Hands-on Unix experience
- Proven ability to manage major outage communication and drive incident resolution
- Knowledge of order management workflows
- Strong stakeholder management and communication
