The Management Recruitment Group
A rapidly growing fit out and design & build contractor based in London are looking to add a Senior Bid Manager that will take ownership of complex, high-value tenders from initial client requirements through to post-tender interviews, ensuring submissions are accurate and compliant. This hybrid role requires translating technical and commercial information into clear bid plans, coordinating inputs from project, design, and commercial teams, and maintaining control over quality, consistency, and deadlines. You’ll be the central point of contact for all live tenders, driving clarity, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring every submission reflects the company’s capability and approach.
You will lead and develop a team of Bid Managers, coordinators and writers, providing hands-on guidance, reviewing content, and ensuring all written and visual material meets client expectations and branding. The role also supports the preparation of mid-tender and interview materials, identifies risks early, and contributes to improving bid processes and templates. Candidates must bring proven experience managing tenders within construction or fit-out, strong organisational and document-control skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a delivery-driven environment. Experience with InDesign, Figma, digital submission platforms, or AI-supported writing tools is beneficial.
