Senior Business Travel Consultant required for an independent travel management company due to an upturn in business. You will be responsible for your own group of clients to form and build close client relationships and provide a high quality service. This is a Monday-Friday role with the possibility of hybrid working after probation and has a salary of up to £38,000 plus company benefits.
Senior Business Travel Consultant responsibilities:
- Booking all aspects of business travel including flights, accommodation, transfers, car hire using the GDS
- Provide expert advice to clients
- Issuing, reissuing tickets and calculating airfares
- Ensuring CRM kept up to date
- Prompt communication with clients at all stages
- Assisting with and co-ordinating ancillary requests
Senior Business Travel Consultant skills required:
- Previous experience in a Business Travel Consultant role
- Working knowledge of a GDS – ideally Amadeus but willing to cross train for the right candidate
- Excellent customer service skills
- Product knowledge
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Additional information:
- Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm – hybrid after probation
- Some out of hours work on a rota basis (paid)
