What the role involves:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll combine hands-on care with team leadership responsibilities, ensuring residents receive exceptional care while supporting and mentoring your colleagues. Key duties include:
- Supervising and supporting your team to ensure confidence, competence, and high standards in all aspects of care.
- Assisting residents with personal care, promoting dignity, respect, and independence at all times.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Administering medication safely and accurately, with thorough record-keeping.
- Contributing to a positive, safe, and nurturing environment on the night shift.
