Join a leading organisation in the entertainment sector as a Client Accountant, supporting a busy talent division and working closely with agents, clients, and internal stakeholders.
This position sits within a specialist client accounts team responsible for managing financial transactions on behalf of high-profile clients. You will play a key role in ensuring payments are processed accurately and efficiently, handling client accounting matters, and providing excellent service to both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client accounting services for a dedicated business unit.
- Act as a primary contact for financial and payment-related queries.
- Process client payments across multiple currencies.
- Raise invoices and support VAT-related administration.
- Conduct credit control activities and monitor outstanding balances.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unallocated funds.
- Handle client queries relating to payments, tax documentation, and account administration.
- Maintain accurate financial records and account reconciliations.
- Use online banking platforms to manage transfers and payment processing.
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to team efficiency.
- Undertake additional administrative duties as required.
About You
- 2–4 years' experience within a client accounts environment.
- Experience in client money accounting, professional services, legal, talent, media, or agency sectors would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient with spreadsheets and financial systems.
- Interest in entertainment, media, television, film, or theatre is beneficial.
