Senior Commercial Property Underwriter
Eames are currently partnered with a leading global insurer to hire a Senior Commercial Property Underwriter into a high-performing and well-established London Market team.
This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Property underwriter who enjoys trading, building broker relationships and driving both new business and portfolio growth within the middle market space.
The Role
- Underwrite and grow a portfolio of Commercial Property business across the UK
- Drive new business activity while maintaining a strong and profitable renewal book
- Build and manage a pipeline through proactive broker and market engagement
- Quote, negotiate and convert business in line with appetite and targets
- Work closely with distribution, risk engineering and wider underwriting teams
- Deliver a high level of service and responsiveness to broker partners
About You
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Property underwriting
- Strong track record of new business development and trading
- Experience within the middle market segment
- Confident operating with underwriting authority
- Commercially astute, decisive and relationship-driven
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally
