We are seeking a Solicitor Solicitor to join a high-performing in-house Legal team, supporting UK-based entities. This role is suited to individuals with approximately 3 – 7 PQE and is an excellent opportunity to step into a commercially focused, advisory role at the heart of a regulated business, where you will influence key strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.

Description
- Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice across the business
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including a) Distribution agreements b) IT and outsourcing contracts c) Bespoke agreements for new projects
- Advise on regulatory matters within insurance / financial services including contributing to horizon scanning
- Ensure compliance and ongoing maintenance of legal and regulatory documentation
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel
- Assist with dispute resolution and claims handling
Profile
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (England & Wales) with appx. 3 – 7 years' PQE
- Experience gained across in-house or private practice
- Background in insurance or financial services
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior management
