As an Intermediate to Senior / Associate Electrical Design Engineer, you will take a leading role in delivering electrical building services designs across a varied national portfolio.You will have ownership of projects from concept through to completion, while contributing to client relationships and supporting the development of junior engineers.Projects span large-scale leisure and destination developments, alongside commercial, mixed-use and public-sector schemes – typically long-term, repeat-client work offering both continuity and technical depth.Lead electrical design projects from concept to completion
- Manage project deliverables, timelines and quality
- Act as a key point of contact for clients
- Provide technical leadership across schemes
- Mentor and support junior engineers
- Contribute to client development and repeat business
- Maintain and improve design standards
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within a consultancy environment
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services design
- Ability to lead projects and work autonomously
- Confident communication and client-facing ability
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Working towards or achieved Chartered status (CIBSE / IET)
- Experience managing project delivery
