This is a senior finance leadership role partnering with operational and executive teams to drive financial performance, strategic investment decisions, regulatory compliance and long-term value across a large business. The role leads financial planning, performance management and business partnering activities, while providing financial leadership on major capital programmes and developing a small, high performing finance team.

Description
- Act as the lead finance partner to senior operational leaders, providing strategic insight and challenge to support decision-making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities.
- Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive actions to improve results.
- Provide financial oversight and support for major capital investment programmes and infrastructure projects.
- Develop robust business cases and investment appraisals to ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Strengthen financial governance, controls and compliance while supporting audit and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of business partners, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement across the business.
Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership or business partnering role within a complex organisation.
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis.
- Experience influencing and challenging senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
- Track record of leading, developing and mentoring a team.
- Excellent commercial acumen, analytical capability and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with investment appraisal, capital expenditure planning and financial governance.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £90,000 to £105,000 depending on experience.
