Description
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with established accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes effectively and efficiently.
- Analyse financial data to support decision-making and improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and systems.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and offer guidance on complex accounting matters.
Profile
A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:
- A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
- Proven expertise in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
