Senior Financial Accountant – salary plus bonus
This role is predominantly financial accounting led, with management oversight & stakeholder interaction layered on top. It is a great role for someone technical who enjoys pace, real ownership, alongside review responsibility & leading a small team.
The bonus of this newly created role is that it will include management accounting, bringing broader scope to your working day, across the following:
- Monthly MI and board packs
- Variance analysis
- Performance statistics vs benchmarks
I’m keen to speak with people who:
- Are ACA / ACCA / CIMA (part or fully qualified)
- Have strong technical & statutory financial accounting, balance sheet & income statement reconciliations experience
- Can deal with internal & external auditors
- Will ensure accounting standards & controls are correctly applied
- Technical, regulated accounting
- Have good VAT returns knowledge (ideally property specific VAT issues)
- Has some experience supporting or managing others
- Real Estate / Fund Accounting experience would be a big plus but not essential.
- Could suit a first time move from Practice
