Our client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a Senior Front Arena Developer to join their London-based team. This is a highly specialised role with a strong focus on valuation systems and framework development within the Front Arena platform.
You will work closely with valuation and risk teams to design, enhance, and support pricing, valuation, and risk-related functionality. The successful candidate will combine deep Front Arena expertise with a solid understanding of valuation methodologies and a broad range of financial products.
This is a front-office aligned role requiring close collaboration with valuation, risk, trading, and operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, while also supporting and developing Front Arena frameworks within the AEF architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance functionality within the Front Arena platform using ACM, AEL, ADFL, and ASQL
- Deliver enhancements across valuation, pricing, and risk, as well as wider trading and post-trade workflows
- Partner with valuation, risk, and trading operations teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Support and optimise Front Arena frameworks within the AEF architecture
- Ensure rigorous testing, validation, and control processes across all developments
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with the Front Arena platform
- Strong expertise in ACM and AEL within the AEF framework
- Proficiency in Python development
- In-depth knowledge of Front Arena programming languages and components (ADFL, ASQL, ADS, AMBA, ATS, APS)
- Proven experience developing valuation frameworks and pricing solutions within Front Arena
