Senior ITAD Technician / Team Leader
Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Salary: £34K +
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (42.5hrs)
Our client, a well-established and growing technology refurbishment business, is seeking an experienced Senior ITAD Technician / Team Leader to support and oversee its IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and Device Refurbishment operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of ITAD and refurbishment technicians
- Oversee secure data wiping, refurbishment, and disposal of IT assets
- Ensure compliance with data security, environmental, and health & safety standards
- Monitor productivity, workflow, and quality control
- Train and mentor team members
- Maintain accurate asset tracking and reporting
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department
Requirements
- Experience within ITAD, IT hardware processing, device refurbishment, or a similar environment
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of data sanitisation standards such as Blancco, ADISA, or equivalent
- Good understanding of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers, and networking equipment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience within a refurbishment or production environment
- Relevant IT or data security certifications
- Inventory management system experience
- Knowledge of e-waste and environmental regulations
