Description
As the Senior Operations Manager you will:
- Review current warehouse operations, colleagues, and systems to priorities key projects
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and reduce inefficiencies (flow, processes, team structure)
- Lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated warehouse team to build engagement and performance in line with growing demands. This will include working through opposition to change.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain processes.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and reporting for logistics operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions to support business growth.
Profile
A successful Senior Operations Manager in this environment should have:
- Proven experience in warehouse leadership, managing large teams to services B2B, retail, and Ecom channels
- A strong understanding of supply chain processes and operational efficiency.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively through substantial business change
- Proven ability to scale an operations maintaining / building on service levels and controlling cost
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ideally exposure to a WMS implementation
