Position Summary:
Location: Ocklynge Junior School
Hours: 07:00- 8:45 & 3pm -6pm, Monday- Friday. Term time only
As a dedicated Playworker your role is pivotal in providing exemplary wrap-around care services to children. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that not only meets but exceeds the needs and expectations of the children in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
Wrap-around Care Delivery:
Design and lead diverse activities that promote children's physical, mental, and social development.
Ensure children's safety, supervise activities, and address individual needs.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed.
Foster a sense of community and positive interactions among children.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong working relationships with schools, children, and the broader families, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Cross-Marketing and Engagement:
Contribute to cross-marketing efforts by promoting holiday camp events and other company initiatives to the families and children you engage with.
Occupancy and Engagement:
Play a role in driving occupancy rates for the company's programs, ensuring consistent participation and a positive experience for children and families. In your role as a Playworker, your commitment to providing high-quality wrap-around care, building relationships, and contributing to cross-marketing initiatives will significantly impact the success of WAC.
By delivering exceptional care, fostering positive relationships, and actively participating in occupancy efforts, you will play a crucial part in promoting the company's reputation and impact.
