Our client is looking for a Technology Services Project Manager to lead and deliver innovative IT and OT projects. The role is crucial for driving innovation and ensuring projects are delivered effectively, efficiently, and with high customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping their delivery strategy and leading project teams to achieve outstanding results.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Plan, direct, and deliver Technology Services projects aligned with the organisation's strategic goals.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, applying agile principles to deliver iteratively and at pace.
• Collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders to prepare and present business cases, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Manage projects within agreed time, cost, and quality constraints, focusing on minimal cost and high customer satisfaction.
• Promote a safety culture and ensure compliance with all legal, health, safety, and environmental obligations.
• Select appropriate delivery methodologies based on stakeholder risk profiles and desired outcomes.
• Build and lead collaborative, motivated project teams, focusing on delivering the best product for the customer through a product-centric approach.
• Develop and maintain baseline project plans, manage scope and changes, and coordinate resources effectively.
• Monitor project progress, manage budgets and forecasts, and implement robust project governance and controls.
• Ensure delivery of benefits and customer outcomes, manage dependencies, change control, risks, and issues.
• Develop stakeholder management and communication plans, providing regular status reports and ensuring smooth handover to Business as Usual and support teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Proven experience managing complex projects using various methodologies.
• Strong customer and product focus with an agile mindset.
• Innovative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Collaborative leadership style with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective stakeholder management and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, including proficiency in MS Project.
• Commercial acumen and experience managing third-party suppliers.
• Desirable: Experience applying Minimum Viable Product (MVP) principles and flexibility in dynamic environments.
