You must have prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.
The 'Senior Project Manager's' role
The successful Senior Project Manager will be responsible for delivering projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring successful outcomes across programme, budget and quality objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading projects from inception through to completion.
- Acting as the primary client contact and trusted advisor.
- Managing multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams.
- Preparing and monitoring project programmes, risks and reporting.
- Overseeing procurement and contract administration processes.
- Delivering projects across public sector, healthcare, hotel and residential sectors.
- Chairing project meetings and providing strategic project leadership.
- Supporting business development and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Contributing to the development of junior team members where required.
- Occasional travel within the UK and Europe to support project delivery.
The 'Senior Project Manager'
The ideal Senior Project Manager will be an experienced consultancy professional capable of leading projects independently and building lasting client relationships.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager within a construction consultancy.
- Strong experience delivering public sector, healthcare, hotel or residential projects.
- Proven ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline.
- Chartered status or working towards MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel occasionally throughout the UK and Europe.
