Job Introduction
Turning Point is a leading health and social care social enterprise, supporting people with mental health, learning disabilities, substance use, sexual health, and employment needs. We are at the forefront of delivering innovative, impactful solutions that make a real difference to people’s lives.
We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager (People Systems) to lead the delivery of our People Systems Replacement project on a fixed-term 18-month contract. This is a key role, working across HR, technology, operations, suppliers, and senior stakeholders to deliver sustainable business change.
You will lead the end-to-end implementation of a complex enterprise system, ensuring delivery across scope, timelines, quality, governance, and business readiness. You’ll bring strong project leadership, structured delivery, and the ability to align teams around shared outcomes.
If you’re passionate about delivering complex change and enabling better ways of working through technology, we’d love to hear from you.
The role offers flexible remote working, with occasional travel to London or Manchester for collaboration, workshops, and key meetings.
Role Responsibility
As a Senior Project Manager (People Systems), you will:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the People Systems Replacement project, from mobilisation through to implementation and transition.
- Manage plans, governance, budgets, reporting, and project controls, ensuring delivery to scope, timeline, and quality.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across technology, data, processes, testing, training, and change.
- Engage and align HR, IT, operational teams, suppliers, and senior stakeholders to support delivery and decision-making.
- Oversee risks, dependencies, and change control, maintaining focus on outcomes and benefits.
- Manage supplier performance to ensure delivery against commitments and milestones.
- Support business readiness by aligning delivery with communications, engagement, training, and adoption.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong delivery leadership and the ability to operate in complex environments.
You will:
- Have strong experience delivering large-scale HR or enterprise systems implementations.
- Demonstrate successful delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Bring solid project management expertise across planning, governance, financials, and risk management.
- Be confident engaging senior stakeholders and working across business and technology teams.
- Have experience managing multiple workstreams and external suppliers.
- Communicate clearly, build trust, and provide constructive challenge.
- Be familiar with structured delivery approaches (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, AgilePM).
- Be adaptable and comfortable in evolving, fast-paced environments.
Experience with People First, Midland HR, or other enterprise HRIS platforms is desirable. Experience working in health, social care, charity, not-for-profit, or other people-centred organisations is welcomed but not essential.
