Senior Python / Django Developer (Contract)
£700-£750 per day (Inside IR35) | Remote | 6 months
We're supporting a leading UK retailer as they scale an AI-driven pricing platform across Europe, and are looking for a Senior Python/Django Developer to support the next phase of delivery.
This is a backend-focused role, working within a data-driven environment on a high-impact, large-scale platform.
The Role
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django
- Contribute to a scalable AI pricing platform used across multiple markets
- Work closely with engineers, data scientists and product teams
- Write clean, maintainable and production-ready code
- Participate in agile ceremonies and technical discussions
What we're looking for
- Strong commercial experience with Python
- Proven hands-on expertise with the Django framework
- Solid understanding of backend engineering and system design
- Experience working in agile delivery environments
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative teams
