Our client are a well known UK retailer looking to add a Senior QS to their commercial property team to oversee a huge CAPEX investment rollout project.
Description
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Analysts
- Oversee cost planning, budgeting, and commercial governance across programmes
- Ensure strong cost control, value for money, and risk management on all projects
- Manage procurement strategy, supplier performance, and commercial compliance
- Own programme-level reporting, providing insight to senior stakeholders
- Partner with Project Managers, Construction teams, Finance, and supply chain leaders
- Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and frameworks
Profile
A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:
- A degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in cost management within the facilities management sector.
- A strong understanding of procurement processes and contract administration.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and project cost forecasting.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
