Signature Recruitment is an independent, Bristol-based consultancy with over 15 years’ experience placing talent across the South West. We’re evolving — building out our senior search and embedded talent capability while continuing to deliver across temporary, contract and permanent recruitment. This role sits at the heart of that evolution.
The Role
We’re looking for a Talent Partner who’s equally comfortable managing the pace and volume of temp/perm desk work and developing the precision and discretion needed for retained, senior-level search (£100k+). This is a varied role, no two days will look the same. It’s a role that isn’t fixed: as you grow into it, we expect it to grow and shift too, in particular in executive search
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across a mixed desk: temporary, contract, permanent and senior/retained search assignments
- Conduct in-depth research and market mapping to identify and approach candidates, particularly for senior and niche roles
- Register, interview and assess candidates, ensuring a thorough understanding of their skills, motivations and career aspirations
- Build and maintain long lists and shortlists tailored to client briefs, applying rigorous screening at executive level
- Liaise proactively with clients throughout the process — managing expectations, providing market insight, and acting as a trusted advisor
- Stay close to placements once made, proactively resolving issues and ensuring a smooth experience for both client and candidate
- Manage candidate and client communications with professionalism and discretion, particularly for confidential senior searches
- Keep on top of the admin, systems and tracking that keep a busy desk running smoothly
- Build and nurture a strong network of candidates and clients across growing SME’s in the South West
- Support the development of Signature’s senior search proposition, contributing ideas and feedback as the role and division grow
What You’ll Bring
- Recruitment experience involving client relationships
- A hands on understanding of how recruitment works: CV screening, interviews, managing a hiring process start to end
- Confidence communicating with a wide range of people, from administrators to MDs, and the ability to build rapport and trust quickly
- Strong organisational skills, with comfort managing multiple moving parts and following through to completion
- A proactive mindset — you spot what needs doing and take action, rather than waiting to be asked
- Resilience and adaptability — you’re comfortable when plans change at short notice, and stay motivated when things are busy or unclear
- Digital confidence, comfortable picking up new systems and tools, including AI/LLM’s
- Openness to change and growth — this role isn’t fixed, and neither is your part in shaping it
