Our client, a global FMCG company is currently seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be key within the Regional Procurement team, responsible for indirect procurement . You will play a pivotal role in managing strategic source-to-contract processes, key supplier relationships, and business partner relationships at both market and area levels.
£400 per day Umbrella
Hybrid role
6 month contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the Strategic Sourcing Process within the framework of the approved category strategy and agreed sourcing delivery channel
- Validate sourcing plans with above-market Procurement teams or individuals, budget holders, and business units
- Coordinate supplier management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform spend analytics, cost/scenario analysis, and total cost of ownership benchmarking
- Advocate for compliance to Group Procurement standards, policies, and platforms
- Ensure contracts are completed for all in-scope supply agreements
- Ensure compliance with Know Your Supplier processes and follow up on arising actions
- Capture and report on compliance to policy using the agreed compliance reporting process and escalate through relevant route
Job Requirements:
- Experience in managing indirect sourcing categories
- Knowledge of multi-step sourcing processes and successful delivery of sourcing projects
- Proven capability of applying supplier management techniques
- Experience in successful negotiation of contracts and commercial agreements
- Understanding of financial evaluation and supplier records analysis
- Professional knowledge of procurement principles, policies, and practices
- Digital skill set with experience in spend analytics, source to contract, requisition to pay, supply risk, and supplier management solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
