Role Overview
Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking a Solicitor to join its highly regarded International Serious Injury team based in Birmingham. This is a unique opportunity to work within a specialist practice handling complex, high-value personal injury claims arising from incidents abroad.
The team is recognised as one of the largest and most successful in the UK in this field, acting for clients who have suffered life-changing injuries or illness overseas. Matters regularly include international road traffic accidents, accidents at sea, and serious holiday illness claims, often involving multi-jurisdictional elements and group litigation.
You will work closely with an experienced Partner and a high-performing team, managing your own caseload while contributing to complex and high-value claims. This role offers exposure to challenging and rewarding work, where you will play a key role in delivering life-changing outcomes for clients.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
- 2–6 years’ PQE with strong experience in litigated personal injury work to multi-track level
- The ability to manage a caseload independently while supporting on larger, multi-claimant matters
- Excellent client care skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively
- Commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to the wider success of the team
