Must have’s
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade industry
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- High attention to detail
- Professional, proactive and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
So, what will you be doing?
- Welcoming customers and managing their service journey from vehicle drop-off through to collection
- Booking vehicles in for servicing and repairs
- Checking vehicle history, recalls, warranties and service plans
- Liaising with workshop, parts and sales departments to ensure vehicles are completed on time
- Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicle and obtaining approval for additional work
- Arranging courtesy cars, loan vehicles and customer travel where required
- Explaining completed work and invoices clearly during vehicle handover
- Maintaining up-to-date manufacturer product knowledge through ongoing training
- Ensuring all legal and company procedures are followed
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience throughout the service process
Helpful extras
- Experience within a premium automotive dealership would be advantageous
