A well-established and growing engineering manufacturer within the ventilation sector is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their workshop team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist business producing bespoke equipment for both new build and refurbishment projects.
The Role
Working within a small, skilled workshop team, you will be responsible for the manufacture of bespoke ventilation and air handling components.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manufacturing bespoke ductwork, silencers, plenums, and air handling components
- Working with galvanised sheet metal (typically 0.9mm – 3.0mm)
- Operating machinery including hydraulic presses and cutting equipment
- Interpreting technical drawings and fabrication sketches
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Maintaining strong health and safety practices at all times
- Liaising with the workshop supervisor and wider team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or Fabricator within a relevant industry
- Experience working with galvanised sheet metal
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good practical skills and attention to detail
- Physically capable of handling materials and tools
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively within a team
- Basic maths skills
What’s on Offer
- Hourly rate: £14.50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
- Full-time, permanent position

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
