Sign Maker – Wisbech – 35,000 / 40,000
ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Sign Maker with immediate effect for our client who lead their market and are based in Wisbech, in Cambridgeshire.
Job Description: Sign Maker
Responsibilities:
– Design and create signs using various materials and techniques, including vinyl cutting, and digital printing
– Collaborate with clients to understand their signage needs and provide creative solutions.
– Prepare sign layouts, ensuring accurate measurements, colours, and fonts.
– Operate sign-making equipment such as plotters, printers, laminators, and heat presses.
– Maintain inventory of sign-making supplies and materials.
– Install signs at client locations, ensuring proper placement and alignment.
– Provide maintenance and repairs for existing signs as needed.
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in sign making or a related field is preferred.
– Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW.
– Knowledge of different sign-making techniques and materials.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
– Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
