We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Facilities Manager based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.
Summary of the Site Facilities Manager role
Salary: £36,000-£40,000
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Responsibilities of theSite Facilities Manager
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the site ensuring cleanliness and safety
- Opening and closing duties
- Manage and supervise a team providing guidance, support and performance reviews
- Conduct regular inspections
- Manage and oversee a variety of maintenance contracts
- Vehicle management
- Manage operational systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Act as the main point of contact for any facility-related issues
Requirements for a successful Site Facilities Manager
- Previous experience in facilities management, site supervision, or a related field
- Be confident in use of IT and management systems
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Experience with new operating systems and facility management software
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of COSHH and water hygiene
