Senior Roofer (Site Lead)
Location: Winsford, Cheshire
Salary: £39,000 – £45,000 per annum (£20–£25 per hour DOE)
Contract: Permanent PAYE Contract – Full-time
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Roofer (Site Lead) to join a growing business in Winsford, specialising in commercial roofing projects. This is a key position for someone confident managing sites and acting as the face of the business with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality roofing work across commercial projects, including:
- Flat roofing systems (felt, GRP, EPDM)
- Slate and tile roofing where required
- Lead work, flashing, and repairs
- Take full ownership of site activity, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Act as the main client liaison on-site, building strong professional relationships
- Coordinate with contractors, site managers, and stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and supervise junior roofers
- Maintain strict adherence to health & safety standards
- Support with planning, materials, and workflow management
Requirements
- Strong roofing background, ideally within commercial environments
- Experience leading jobs as a Site Lead / Senior Roofer
- Confident, professional client-facing communication skills
- Expertise in flat roofing systems
- Gold CSCS Skilled Worker Card
- Full UK driving licence
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
