Commercial SME Account Handler – £30,000–£35,000 – South Leeds – Hybrid Working

Manage your own portfolio of commercial clients, build strong insurer relationships, and develop new business opportunities within a growing, high-performing insurance team.

We’re recruiting for a client-focused Account Manager to join a successful Commercial team based in South Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with insurance or broking experience looking to take the next step in a supportive and ambitious environment.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of commercial clients
  • Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and client queries
  • Identifying new business and cross-selling opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with insurers and stakeholders
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance processes
  • Supporting team objectives and contributing to overall growth

This is a varied, client-facing role where you’ll play a key part in delivering a high-quality service experience.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in commercial insurance
  • Is confident managing client relationships
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills
  • Takes a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Works well within a collaborative team environment

Experience with systems such as Acturis would be beneficial but not essential.
