Teacher of Spanish (QTS Required) – Full-Time

Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Duration: September 2026 – December 2026
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish to join a welcoming and well-established mainstream secondary school in Burnley. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026 and continuing through to December 2026.
The Role
As a Teacher of Spanish, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess pupils’ work in line with curriculum requirements
- Foster a positive learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed
- Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience teaching Spanish in a UK secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for languages and the ability to inspire students
- Availability for the full duration of the role (September – December 2026)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
