An established London market insurer is seeking a talented Specialty & Property Actuary to join a high-performing actuarial team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with underwriting teams, providing pricing support across a diverse portfolio while influencing risk selection, model development, and strategic decision-making.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing pricing models, assessing pricing adequacy on individual risks, and delivering insightful performance analysis to support business planning and portfolio management. You will also collaborate closely with underwriters, acting as a trusted advisor, and contribute to wider initiatives such as model parameterisation, rate change analysis, and portfolio optimisation.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary with proven pricing experience in the London market, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. You should have a strategic mindset, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with experience analysing loss data and delivering actionable insights.
