SEN Teaching Assistant

Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide targeted support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in various school settings.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt activities to meet students' needs.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to enhance educational and behavioural outcomes.
- Utilize strong behaviour management skills to maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with SEN or transferable skills from care, coaching, or youth work.
- Confident, resilient, and proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong behavior management skills and the ability to effectively support students.
- Passion for supporting and engaging young learners and helping them achieve their potential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
