Stores Coordinator (Materials / Inventory) – 12 Month Contract

Pay Rate: £16.63 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (37 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Coordinator to support logistics and materials operations across multiple sites. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in warehouse, stores, or inventory management to join a well-established organisation on a long-term contract.
The Role:
As a Stores Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day stores operations, maintaining accurate stock levels, and supporting wider logistics activities. You will work closely with the Logistics Manager and wider team to ensure materials are handled safely, accurately, and in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily stores operations including receiving, storing, and issuing materials, supplies, and equipment
- Manage stock movements and update systems using SAP/CORMAP
- Support KPI reporting alongside the Logistics Manager
- Handle stock transfers and repairs between suppliers, clients, and internal teams
- Monitor stock levels and raise replenishment requirements
- Support stock checks, audits, and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain clean, organised, and compliant storage areas
- Assist with preparation of materials for dispatch and returns
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely movement of materials
- Provide cover across the logistics team as required
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in stores, warehouse, or logistics coordination
- Familiarity with inventory systems (SAP or similar ERP/MRP)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of health and safety within a logistics environment
- Forklift licence (desirable or willingness to obtain)
