Stores Coordinator
Location: Buckie
Work Type: Onsite
Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour (PAYE)
Overtime: 150% / 200% rates
Contract: 30th June 2026 – 20th October 2026 (potential for extension or permanent role)
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Stores Coordinator to join our team in Buckie. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role requiring strong organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining high health & safety standards.
Working a structured shift pattern of 7 days on / 7 days off, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials.
Working Hours
- 84 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and issuing stock and materials
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Operating forklifts and cranes safely
- Managing warehouse storage areas
- Conducting stock rotation and stock checks
- Packing and dispatching goods
- Using SAP or warehouse management systems for inventory control
- Maintaining health & safety standards at all times
- Completing delivery records and documentation
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in warehouse, stores, or materials control
- Forklift Truck (FLT) experience or licence (preferred)
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Basic IT skills (e.g., MS Office, SAP or similar systems)
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Comfortable working long shifts and rotational patterns
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
