About the role:
As Temporary Stores Operative you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations. Responsibilities will include:
- ensuring the correct materials are picked and fulfilled to other departments
- receiving and unpacking shipments
- warehouse organisation
- inventory management – storing and labelling materials correctly
- ensuring efficient and proper stocks replenishment throughout the factory
- ensure production flow is uninterrupted
- waste management and transportation
- transport of materials, products as required
- other tasks as designated by leaders
- repackage materials and stocks for transport to other departments
- ensuring containers and requirements/requests are packed as needed
- inspect for defects and address issues
- inventory tasks
- labelling and storage management
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Experience in warehousing or stores positions
- Attention to detail – accuracy!
- Excellent organisation skills
- Time management skills – efficiency!
- Maintain clean and organised work areas
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability lift and move materials / containers/ boxes of varying sizes and weights according to Health & Safety Protocols
- IT Proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
