MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious engineering client in their 2026 recruitment initiative with the recruitment of a permanent Stores Supervisor to strengthen their current team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to apply their knowledge and skills within an industry leading employer.

The Job You’ll Do:
- Responsible for managing a team of between 2 – 5 stores staff
- Implement overall organisation and structure to the stores department, ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of the business
- Controlling and allocating parts numbers
- Increase stock accuracy
- Assisting the dispatch team when needed
- Liaising with production and engineering teams to understand their needs and help the company operate more efficiently
- Identify areas for improvement or cost saving
About You:
- Experience working as a Senior Operator or preferably a management position within a stores department
- A background within engineering/manufacturing
- A good level of PC/IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Experience using ERP systems (Navision is highly desirable)
- Well organised, methodical and a logical thinker
- Able to manage a small team effectively without constant support
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
