- Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (1 – 2 months)
Doncaster Council are looking for three Street Scene Operatives for a temporary assignment lasting 1 – 2 months. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit and capable of handling heavy items, as it involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform various outdoor maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep public spaces clean and safe.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment required for street cleaning and waste removal.
- Lift and move heavy items as part of daily duties.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing tasks.
- Work efficiently to complete tasks within the allocated time frame.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Physical fitness and ability to engage in labor-intensive work.
- Ability to work early morning shifts starting at 6:00 AM.
- Commitment to safety standards and protocols.
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
